Have some fun and see what different scenarios might look like:

  • Start conservatively. What would it look like if you were only able to work 2x faster?
  • Get more ambitious.  How about 5x and more than 10x like one large law firm on real estate documents
  • Where ARE the boundaries?  If you can re-use the answers from a term sheet or very similar transaction so a lot of the interview is pre-filled, how many times faster could you work then?
  • Think about who does the work.  If the work is currently done mostly by senior associates or partners, could it be done entirely by a non-lawyer, or with only a small amount of targetted lawyer review?
